Voice mail can take messages for an associate that is not available to take a phone call or is to busy to take a phone call and also alert an associate of a new voice mail message or re-route callers to a cell phone just by pressing buttons on a telephone keypad. The automated attendant voice mail system can either transfer a caller to an off-site location as explained above or notify a person that they have a new voice mail through a beeper or by calling a Cell phone notifying them of a new voice mail, ask them for a password and play the messages.
